Clark Clinic offers primary care services dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating illnesses that affect patients of all ages.
A primary care provider serves as the first point of contact for patients, offering continuity of care and referrals to specialists when necessary. The goal of primary care is to keep individuals healthy and address their medical concerns in a holistic manner.
Primary care services typically include preventive care, such as vaccinations and screenings, as well as management of chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
Throughout our practices we have family doctors who provide care for everyone in the family, from newborns to older adults. Our internal medicine practitioners, or internists, focus on taking care of adult patients 18 and older. We also offer pediatric services, providing care for children from birth through adolescence.

Annual Well-Visits:
A well-visit, also known as an annual checkup, is a routine appointment with a primary care provider to discuss your overall health and wellness.
Our approach to well-visits is guided by the latest medical recommendations and tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. We believe that preventive care is the cornerstone of good health, and our mission is to help you achieve a long and healthy life.
An annual well-visit offers several benefits, including:
- Building a Health History: Establish a comprehensive health record that helps track changes over time, making it easier to identify trends or concerns.
- Medication Review: Review current medications to assess effectiveness, side effects and potential interactions.
- Mental Health Check: Opportunity to discuss mental health, including stress, anxiety or depression, and receive appropriate referrals or treatment options.
- Personalized Health Advice: Discuss lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, sleep and stress, receiving personalized advice to improve overall health.
- Preventive Care: Early detection of potential health issues like high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol can lead to more effective treatment.
- Setting Health Goals: Work with your provider to set realistic health goals, whether for weight loss, smoking cessation or managing a chronic condition.
- Updated Health Screenings: Ensure that immunizations and screenings (like mammograms, colonoscopies, etc.) are up-to-date based on age, gender and medical history.
